Camera Shy

 Updated

Again.

It happened again.  Only this time we had a BUNCH of witnesses.

We have a "scrapbooking" group in this weekend.  A bunch of ladies that have booked the whole lodge and are putting together their photo-albums.

"LOOK!" one gal exclaims "A bobcat!"

Sure enough, Juanita's bobcat from a couple days ago is wandering by the doors of the lodge looking for dinner.  We watched it disappear across the road near the horses and out of sight.

No one took a picture.

Not a single one.

Guess by blogging rules, it never happened.

Again.

Bill

Oooo!  Ooooo!

It came back and Mizz P.S. got a picture!
 Here kitty kitty kitty...

  1. Dinner from the kitchen, or some other kind of dinner?!

  2. We are being over-run (over-hopped?) by rabbits. Glad the cat doesn't mind a little hare in his meal.

  4. So you plan on putting out some cat nip so Kitty does not mind the hare in her food?

  5. Oh, how beautiful! The bobcats here are so elusive, they're like that mythical, extinct woodpecker down South.
Mrs. Mom, you're only supposed to make me snort tea when I'm on Your blog!

  6. Wowzer!!! Great shot...and, yes, proof that it happened. Not that your illustration isn't also proof, but...good to have the real thing.

  7. As much as I love the fine art, the picture is amazing. He/She/It looks like a big housecat - careful one of the guests doesn't let it in thinking it belongs there.
