Nursemaid to a Half Ton

Well, Jesse stepped on a nail earlier this week.  We got the nail pulled out and the vet called to get all of the horses tetanus boosters.

Now for the fun stuff.  Long term care.

"Ummm, Yuck?"

"I think I'm gunna spit"

"Now what?"

"Where we going?"

"What we doing?"

"What you got?"

"Now Jesse, this is going to hurt me more than it hurts you"
"You got THAT right!"

"See Jesse, that wasn't so bad"
"The #e[[ you say!"
"I thought you were my friend"

Then repeat for the next couple of days, but only the shots, though.
Don't step on any more nails, horse.  It hurts my ribs.

  1. Ouch! Sorry to hear about the nail. I hope it didn't do much damage and that Jesse heals quickly.

  2. Jesse, no more pinning your Dad. That is totally Not. Fair.

And heal up quick so you and Mom can hit the trails!

LOL WV: trainaim-- So, Bill, did ya have to train Jesse to aim for your ribs? ;)

  3. LOL. I think my horses resemble that. Was very good pictorama. Loved the revenge. Typical horses..they are so, loyalty, and then a, man...scorned.

    Glad they are all fixed.

  4. OUCH! I am reminded all the time that we only get away with bossing these big beasts around because they let us! :)

Good luck with the rest of the shots...

I had to turn verification back on. Ten "spams" an hour is making me crazy...
